G-Protein Coupled Receptors: G-Protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) are membrane proteins involved in the pathogenesis of diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, etc.
Here, we are trying to study the conformational dynamics of the Glucagon Receptor, Glucagon-like Peptide 1 receptor, PArathyroid Hormone Receptor, Pituitary Adenlyate Cyclase Receptor and Secretin Receptor - All Class B GPCRs.
These studies will help in designing better drugs that target these receptors.

PArathyroid Hormone Receptor
Parathyroid hormone receptor (PTH receptor)
The Parathyroid Hormone Receptor (PTH receptor) is a protein found on the surface of bone cells and other tissues. It binds to the hormone parathyroid hormone (PTH), which regulates calcium levels in the body. Drugs targeting this receptor are used to treat osteoporosis.
Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase Receptor
PAC1 receptor
The Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase Receptor (PAC1 receptor) is a protein found on the surface of pituitary cells. It binds to various hormones, including gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which stimulates the release of other hormones. Drugs targeting this receptor are used in treating certain hormonal disorders.

A receptor that binds to the hormone secretin
The Secretin Receptor is a protein found on the surface of cells in the pancreas and intestines. It binds to the hormone secretin, which stimulates bicarbonate secretion from the pancreas. This process helps neutralize stomach acid entering the small intestine. Drugs targeting this receptor are used to treat certain gastrointestinal disorders.
