This project studies how certain proteins change shape when they receive signals. These proteins are involved in diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure. By understanding these changes, scientists hope to design better drugs that target these proteins.

G-Protein Coupled Receptors: G-Protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) are membrane proteins involved in the pathogenesis of diabetes, high blood proessure, skin cancer, osteoporosis, etc.
Here, we are trying to studying the conformational dynamics of Glucagon Receptor, Glucagon-like Peptide 1 receptor, PArathyroid Hormone Receptor, Pituitary Adenlyate Cyclase Receptor and Secretin Receptor - All Class B GPCRs.
These studies will help in designing better drugs that target these receptors.

The Parathyroid Hormone receptor (PTH Receptor) is a cell surface protein that binds to parathyroid hormone (PTH). This binding triggers various cellular responses involved in calcium homeostasis and bone metabolism.
Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide
A peptide hormone that activates adenylate cyclase in the pituitary gland.
Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide (PACAP) is a hormone produced by various tissues, including the brain. It plays a role in regulating several physiological functions, such as hormone release, stress response, and cognitive processes.
Secretin Receptor
A receptor on the surface of cells that binds to secretin, a hormone involved in regulating pancreatic secretions.
The Secretin Receptor is a protein found on the surfaces of various cells. When it binds to secretin, a hormone produced by the intestines, it triggers a series of events inside the cell that lead to the release of digestive enzymes from the pancreas.
