G-Protein Coupled Receptors: G-Protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) are membrane proteins involved in the pathogenesis of diabetes, high blood proessure, skin cancer, osteoporosis, etc.
Here, we are trying to studying the conformational dynamics of Glucagon Receptor, Glucagon-like Peptide 1 receptor, PArathyroid Hormone Receptor, Pituitary Adenlyate Cyclase Receptor and Secretin Receptor - All Class B GPCRs.
These studies will help in designing better drugs that target these receptors.

Glucagon-like Peptide 1 Receptor
A type of G-protein coupled receptor that binds to glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1).
The Glucagon-like Peptide 1 Receptor (GLP-1R) is a cell surface receptor involved in regulating blood sugar levels. It is activated by the hormone GLP-1, which stimulates insulin release from the pancreas.
Parathyroid Hormone Receptor
A type of G-protein coupled receptor that binds to parathyroid hormone.
The Parathyroid Hormone Receptor (PTHr) is a cell surface receptor that plays a crucial role in regulating calcium and phosphate levels in the body. It responds to the hormone parathyroid hormone (PTH).
Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide
A polypeptide hormone that activates adenylate cyclase.
Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide (PACAP) is a neuropeptide hormone involved in various physiological processes, including regulating stress response, neurotransmission, and growth. It acts by binding to specific receptors and activating adenylate cyclase.
Secretin Receptor
A type of G-protein coupled receptor that binds to the hormone secretin.
The Secretin Receptor is a cell surface receptor that responds to the hormone secretin. Secretin plays a role in regulating pancreatic enzyme secretion and bicarbonate production.
