TLDR; PROJECT SUMMARY AI BETA
This project studies how certain proteins on our cells change shape when activated by hormones. These proteins are involved in diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure. Understanding their movement can help scientists create better drugs to treat these conditions.

G-Protein Coupled Receptors: G-Protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) are membrane proteins involved in the pathogenesis of diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, etc.
Here, we are trying to study the conformational dynamics of the Glucagon Receptor, Glucagon-like Peptide 1 receptor, PArathyroid Hormone Receptor, Pituitary Adenlyate Cyclase Receptor and Secretin Receptor - All Class B GPCRs.
These studies will help in designing better drugs that target these receptors.

G-protein coupled receptors are a large family of cell surface receptors that play a crucial role in transmitting signals from the outside to the inside of cells. They are involved in many important physiological processes, such as vision, smell, taste, and hormone regulation.

PTH Receptor
The Parathyroid Hormone receptor (PTH receptor) is a type of G protein-coupled receptor found on bone and kidney cells. It binds to the hormone parathyroid hormone (PTH), which regulates calcium levels in the body.
Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide Receptor
PACAP Receptor
The Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide receptor (PACAP receptor) is a type of G protein-coupled receptor found on various tissues. It binds to the neuropeptide PACAP, which plays roles in neurotransmission and hormone regulation.
Secretin Receptor
A type of G protein-coupled receptor that binds to the hormone secretin.
The Secretin Receptor is a transmembrane protein found on the surface of pancreatic cells. It binds to the hormone secretin, which stimulates the release of bicarbonate from the pancreas into the duodenum.
