TLDR; PROJECT SUMMARY AI BETA
This project tests a new computer program called core22 on different types of hardware. It uses small tasks to check if there are any problems so the program can work better on all computers.
Note: This TLDR is a simplication and may not be 100% accurate.OFFICAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project contains a variety of benchmarking systems (with adjusted numbers of steps per system to give equal time/WU on an RTX 2080) to test and benchmark core22.
These WUs are very short and just used to detect issues with various hardware to ensure we can continue to improve core22 on all hardware.
RELATED TERMS GLOSSARY AI BETA
benchmarking
The process of testing and evaluating the performance of computer systems or hardware.
Benchmarking is like a test for computers. It measures how fast and efficiently they can perform tasks. This helps developers and manufacturers improve their products.
RTX 2080
A high-performance graphics processing unit (GPU) produced by Nvidia.
The RTX 2080 is a powerful graphics card used in gaming and other applications that require high-quality visuals. It's known for its ability to render complex images and videos smoothly.
core22
A specific processor architecture or core design.
Core22 likely refers to a particular type of computer processor. Processors are the brains of computers and handle all the calculations and instructions.
hardware
The physical parts of a computer system.
Hardware are the tangible pieces of a computer, like the motherboard, processor, memory, and graphics card.
