TLDR; PROJECT SUMMARY AI BETA
This project tests the performance of a new computer program (core22) on different hardware. It uses small tasks to find any problems and make sure core22 works well on all types of computers.
Note: This TLDR is a simplication and may not be 100% accurate.OFFICAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project contains a variety of benchmarking systems (with adjusted numbers of steps per system to give equal time/WU on an RTX 2080) to test and benchmark core22.
These WUs are very short and just used to detect issues with various hardware to ensure we can continue to improve core22 on all hardware.
RELATED TERMS GLOSSARY AI BETA
benchmarking
The process of evaluating the performance of a system or component.
Benchmarking involves testing and comparing different systems or components to measure their performance. This helps identify strengths and weaknesses, allowing for improvements and optimization.
hardware
The physical parts of a computer system.
Hardware refers to the tangible components of a computer, such as the processor, memory, storage devices, and input/output peripherals. It is the physical foundation upon which software operates.
RTX 2080
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 is a high-performance graphics processing unit (GPU) known for its capabilities in gaming and other graphically intensive applications. It features advanced technologies such as ray tracing and DLSS.
core22
Likely a codename for a specific software project or component.
Based on context, 'core22' likely refers to a software project or component undergoing development and testing. The specific nature of its function is unclear without further information.
