TLDR; PROJECT SUMMARY AI BETA
This project has small tests to see how well a new program called core22 runs on different computer hardware. These tests are quick and help make sure core22 works smoothly on all types of computers.
Note: This TLDR is a simplication and may not be 100% accurate.OFFICAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project contains a variety of benchmarking systems (with adjusted numbers of steps per system to give equal time/WU on an RTX 2080) to test and benchmark core22.
These WUs are very short and just used to detect issues with various hardware to ensure we can continue to improve core22 on all hardware.
RELATED TERMS GLOSSARY AI BETA
benchmarking
The process of evaluating and comparing the performance of hardware or software.
Benchmarking is like a test to see how well something performs. In technology, we use benchmarks to compare different computers, processors, or software programs. These tests measure things like speed, efficiency, and accuracy. The results help us understand which options are best suited for specific tasks.
hardware
The physical parts of a computer system.
Hardware refers to the tangible parts of a computer, such as the central processing unit (CPU), memory (RAM), hard drive, and graphics card. These components work together to process information and execute instructions.
RTX 2080
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 graphics processing unit (GPU)
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 is a high-performance graphics card designed for gaming and other graphically intensive tasks. It features advanced technologies such as ray tracing and artificial intelligence to deliver realistic visuals and smooth gameplay.
core22
Could refer to a specific software project or codebase.
Based on the context, 'core22' likely represents a software component or project. It could be a framework, library, or algorithm used in developing applications.
