RESEARCH: CORE22-BENCHMARKING
FOLDING PROJECT #17119 PROFILE

TLDR; PROJECT SUMMARY AI BETA

This project tests the performance of a new program called core22 on different computer hardware. It uses short tasks to find any problems and make sure core22 works well on all types of computers.

Note: This TLDR is a simplication and may not be 100% accurate.

OFFICAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project contains a variety of benchmarking systems (with adjusted numbers of steps per system to give equal time/WU on an RTX 2080) to test and benchmark core22.

These WUs are very short and just used to detect issues with various hardware to ensure we can continue to improve core22 on all hardware.

RELATED TERMS GLOSSARY AI BETA

Note: Glossary items are a high level summary and may not be 100% accurate.

benchmarking

The process of evaluating the performance of a system, algorithm, or component.

Technical: Technology
Computer Science / Software Engineering

Benchmarking is like a test to see how well something works. It involves comparing different systems or algorithms to see which one performs better under specific conditions. This helps developers and engineers understand the strengths and weaknesses of various technologies and make informed decisions about which ones to use.

RTX 2080

A high-performance graphics card manufactured by Nvidia.

Product Name: Technology
Computer Hardware / Graphics Cards

The RTX 2080 is a powerful graphics card designed for gaming and other graphically intensive tasks. It features advanced technologies like ray tracing and AI-powered upscaling, which enhance the visual quality of games and applications.

core22

Core22 refers to a specific version or iteration of a machine learning model.

Technical: Technology
Software Development / Machine Learning

Core22 is likely a particular version of a machine learning algorithm or model. These models are used for various tasks such as image recognition, natural language processing, and prediction.

hardware

The physical components of a computer system.

Technical: Technology
Computer Science / Systems Engineering

Hardware refers to the tangible parts of a computer, such as the processor, memory, storage devices, and input/output peripherals. It is the foundation upon which software operates.
