RESEARCH: CORE22-BENCHMARKING
FOLDING PROJECT #17111 PROFILE

TLDR; PROJECT SUMMARY AI BETA

This project tests the new core22 system on different computer hardware using short tasks. The goal is to find any problems with core22 so it can work better on all types of computers.

Note: This TLDR is a simplication and may not be 100% accurate.

OFFICAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project contains a variety of benchmarking systems (with adjusted numbers of steps per system to give equal time/WU on an RTX 2080) to test and benchmark core22.

These WUs are very short and just used to detect issues with various hardware to ensure we can continue to improve core22 on all hardware.

RELATED TERMS GLOSSARY AI BETA

Note: Glossary items are a high level summary and may not be 100% accurate.

Benchmarking

The process of evaluating the performance of a system or component.

Technical: Technology
Computer Science / Hardware Testing

Benchmarking is a way to measure how well something performs. In computer science, it's often used to compare different hardware or software systems and see which one is faster or more efficient.

RTX 2080

A high-performance graphics processing unit (GPU) manufactured by NVIDIA.

Product Name: Technology
Computer Science / Graphics Cards

The RTX 2080 is a powerful graphics card made by NVIDIA. It's used in gaming computers and workstations to render complex graphics and videos.

core22

A software project or product that is being developed.

Software/Product Name: Technology
Computer Science / Software Development

core22 is likely a piece of software under development. The text suggests it's being tested and improved.

Hardware

The physical components of a computer system.

Technical: Technology
Computer Science / Components

Hardware refers to the tangible parts of a computer, like the processor, memory, and graphics card. It's what makes the computer work.
