This project studies the SARS-CoV-2 virus's main copying tool (nsp12). Scientists want to find weak spots on this tool that drugs can target and see how changes in the tool affect drug effectiveness.

This project simulates the SARS-Cov2 nsp12 polymerase (RNA-directed RNA polymerase), which is responsible for duplicating the SARS-Cov2 genome during infection.
These simulations will focus on identifying druggable pockets on the protein's surface as well as predicting the effect of mutations on drug sensitivity.

Mutations are changes that occur in an organism's DNA sequence. They can be caused by various factors like radiation or errors during DNA replication. Mutations can have a range of effects, from being harmless to causing disease.
