OFFICAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project involves simulations of AtSTP10, a high-affinity monosaccharide transporter protein in plants that facilitates the uptake of glucose, galactose, and mannose into pollen tubes and root primordia.

Studying the mechanism of active transport of sucrose will help us design better crops.
