FOLDING PROJECT #17919 PROFILE

This project looks at PfHT1, a sugar transporter in malaria parasites that moves glucose and fructose. Scientists want to figure out how PfHT1 picks its sugars and use this knowledge to deliver anti-malarial drugs directly to the parasite.
