Malarial parasite transporter PfHT1 - Plasmodium falciparum hexose transporter is a sugar transporter found in the malarial parasite, which transports glucose and fructose across the membrane.
In this project we aim to understand the substrate specificity mechanism of the transporter and to obtain a possible pathway of targetted delivery of anti-malarial drugs.

Malarial parasite
