RIPK1
Receptor-interacting protein kinase 1

E3 Ligase
A type of enzyme that facilitates the attachment of ubiquitin to target proteins.
E3 ligases play a crucial role in protein degradation and signal transduction pathways. They recognize specific target proteins and recruit E2 enzymes to attach ubiquitin molecules, marking them for degradation.

Von Hippel-Lindau tumor suppressor protein

Proteolysis targeting chimera
PROTACs are a novel class of drugs that leverage the ubiquitin-proteasome system to degrade specific target proteins. They consist of two parts: a ligand that binds to the target protein and a PROTAC recruiter that interacts with an E3 ligase.
